Where should the fireman switch be placed?

Answer:

In the Ferroamp system, fireman switches can be placed on both the AC and DC sides of the EnergyHub. The time it takes for the DC network to discharge is shorter if the switch is activated on the DC side, so that is our recommended placement.

On the DC side, the fireman switch should be placed as close to the EnergyHub as possible, typically between the EnergyHub and the rest of the DC network.

Ferroamp's fireman switches are IP65 rated.
