Is EnergyHub an active component in my electrical grid?

Answer:

EnergyHub is an active component in the grid of the property.

  • EnergyHub supplies electricity to the property that has been converted from solar panels and/or batteries.
  • EnergyHub can also consume electricity, for example, for charging batteries.
  • When the EnergyHub performs phase balancing, it draws current from the phase(s) with lower load and sends out current to the phase(s) with higher load.
