How much sound does a EnergyHub make?

Answer:

An EnergyHub is generally very quiet during operation. The amount of noise it produces depends on whether the EnergyHub is in measurement mode (where it only measures and reports data to the EnergyCloud) or operating mode (performing phase balancing and inverting solar power/energy storage). The noise in the EnergyHub comes from the fan used for cooling its components.

In measurement mode, the built-in fan will run very rarely and if so, at low speeds, as minimal power is drawn since we are only measuring.

In operating mode, more cooling will be needed, especially in cases where the EnergyHub is operating at maximum capacity and inverting full power. In such cases, the EnergyHub can produce noise of up to 30dB. However, this will only occur when the EnergyHub is operating at full capacity, typically during the summer when it's hottest and there's the most sunlight on the solar panels.
